As-salamu-alaikum. Welcome to the redesigned Dahuk website. “Gram-Banglar Pakhi” Dahuk, calls earnestly sitting on a bush near a pond or a marshy land in the villages of Bangladesh. Poet of Islamic renaissance Farrukh Ahmed used Dahuk as a symbol of an incessant caller to the path of truth.
We have been sent by the creator of this universe with a great responsibility of calling people to His commandments. ”Let there arise out of you a band of people inviting to all that is good, enjoining what is right, and forbidding what is wrong: They are the ones to attain felicity.” (3:104)
Let all of us try to be righteous and invite others in this endeavor with ‘wisdom and fair preaching’.
This is a difficult time for Bangladesh and its people, and even more sadly a heart-rendering situation for Islam and the Islam-loving people of Bangladesh. We ask from Allah (SWT) patience and perseverance to stand firmly on His way. And remind everyone of the Solace from our Lord:
In the case of those who say, “Our Lord is Allah., and, further, stand straight and steadfast, the angels descend on them (from time to time): “Fear ye not!” (they suggest), “Nor grieve! but receive the Glad Tidings of the Garden (of Bliss), the which ye were promised! ”We are your protectors in this life and in the Hereafter: therein shall ye have all that your souls shall desire; therein shall ye have all that ye ask for!- ”A hospitable gift from one Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful!” Who is better in speech than one who calls (men) to Allah, works righteousness, and says, “I am of those who bow in Islam”? [Sura Fussilat 30-33]
Let us try to be that kind of a caller, inshaAllah.
